The work involved replacing the old hip tiles with a durable dry system, installing new felt on the flat roof, and crafting precise leadwork to cap the ridge-to-flat-roof junction.
We knew that mortar wouldn’t stand the test of time, so we turned to a long-lasting solution: skilled lead welding. To ensure the highest quality, we enlisted the help of an old friend, an experienced welder, whose expertise was key in making this project a success.
This job was also a valuable learning experience for the younger generation of roofers on our team, guided by the knowledge and leadership of our eldest and most experienced roofer. Together, we delivered a solution built to last, honoring our values of craftsmanship and trust.
